Editorial Policy

Last updated: 5 November 2026

Every page on this site follows the same rules: facts come from primary sources, opinions are labelled as opinions, and errors are fixed openly. This page sets out those rules so you can judge the content for yourself.

1. Editorial independence

Ratings and verdicts are written by the named author and are not shown to the operator before publication. No operator can buy a higher score, request the removal of a negative point or approve a page. The commercial side of the site is described separately on the Affiliate Disclosure page, and who runs the site is explained on the About page.

2. Sources we use

Forum posts and player comments can point us to a problem, but we do not publish a claim based on them alone.

3. Fact-checking

Numbers that affect a player's money - minimum deposits, wagering multipliers, withdrawal windows, bonus caps and licence numbers - are checked against the operator's live pages before each update. If a figure cannot be confirmed, we either leave it out or say clearly that it is unconfirmed.

4. Authorship and tools

Every page has a named author, Lucas van Bilderbeek, who is responsible for its accuracy. Software tools may help with drafting, spelling or layout, but no claim is published until the author has checked it against a source.

5. Corrections and updates

If we get something wrong, we fix it. Send the page address, the claim in question and, if possible, a source showing the correct information to [email protected]. Material corrections are made within five working days, and the "Updated" date on the page changes when they are.

6. Keeping content current

The main Jackpot City page is reviewed at least once a quarter and whenever the operator changes its welcome offer, payment methods or licensing. Each page shows the date of its last update.

7. Conflicts of interest

The author does not hold shares in, or work for, any casino operator covered on this site. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed on the affected page.

8. Reader safety

Every page carries an 18+ notice and a route to free help. We do not describe gambling as a source of income, we do not promote chasing losses, and we state the downsides of an offer next to its headline value. Practical safer-play advice is on the Responsible Gambling page. We also keep data collection to a minimum, as set out in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.

9. Complaints and right of reply

Readers and operators can challenge any statement on this site through the Contact page. We reply to every specific, documented request, and if a complaint shows we were wrong, the page is corrected under section 5.
