Privacy Policy
This site collects very little personal information: no accounts, no sign-up forms and no analytics scripts. This policy explains the small amount of data that is handled and your rights over it.
1. What this site is
This is an independent information site about Jackpot City for readers in New Zealand. Who runs it is explained on the About page, and the content is written by our analyst Lucas van Bilderbeek under our Editorial Policy. It does not accept bets or payments, and it is not operated by the casino.
2. New Zealand privacy law
We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 2020 and its information privacy principles. The Office of the Privacy Commissioner oversees that law and accepts complaints.

We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive information such as identity documents or bank details. Please do not send them.

5. Partner links and the operator's own tracking
When you click a partner link, you leave this site. The casino and any tracking service it uses may then set their own cookies and collect data under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your name, contact details or account information from the operator. How partner links work is explained in the Affiliate Disclosure.
6. How long data is kept
Server logs are kept for no longer than 90 days unless needed to investigate a security problem. Emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request and then deleted within 12 months.
7. Who we share data with
We do not sell or rent personal information. Data is only shared with the hosting provider that runs the server, or where the law requires it.
8. Where data is stored
The site is hosted on servers that may be located outside New Zealand. Where that is the case, we only use providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable to the Privacy Act 2020.
9. Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask for it to be corrected. Email [email protected] with "Privacy request" in the subject line, and we will respond within 20 working days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
10. Children
This site is intended only for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Safer-play advice for adults is on the Responsible Gambling page.
11. Security
All pages are served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and access to the server is limited to the people who maintain the site.
12. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of the page changes with it.
